Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez-Collins, an American-Mexican sportscaster. She is an ESPN anchor on news, and she hosts SportsNation at times. She was hired by ESPN in the year of 2016. Her mother is television journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta was bilingual by when she was nine years old. It is this skill which helped her obtain her first position as an Univision production assistant in Miami. There, she worked with the producers of television shows that were national, like Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. In St. Petersburg, she was later hired to the CBS station as a sports journalist. In 2009, she moved away from Texas to Rio Grande Valley where she became a news correspondent at KNVO TV 48 Univision. In 2009, she moved to Rio Grande Valley, Texas and became an editor for KNVO48 Univision as well as Fox2 News. In addition, she was an anchor for weather anchors, sports anchors and forecasters. Then she became the anchor and reporter for Univision Dallas' Deportes 23. In the following years, she was given more responsibility. She produced pieces about Major League Baseball's ALDS ALCS and World Series the Dallas Cowboys the NBA postseason and the NBA Finals FC Dallas and the Dallas Stars. She also produced Univision 23 Accion Deportiva Extra as anchor. She became a sports host for the morning program of Despierta America Deportes. In the same capacity she was employed by Primer Impacto (a network magazine) and Contacto Deportivo (a UniMas Network sports program). Antonietta Collins was born in Veracruz Mexico. They eventually relocated to Mexico City where she was born on the 22nd of November, 1985. Her older sister is also hers. She is the older sister. Within a brief time her father divorced from her mother. She was subsequently remarried by 1995 naval architect named Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo died of kidney cancer in the year 2006. On a family vacation in Ohio, younger Collins took a place with her older sister. At the time of her senior year in high school and yet knowing exactly what she would like to accomplish with her life Antonietta went to her local University of Mount Union to examine if it was a good fit for her requirements. It was a beautiful campus as well as offered the level of education she wanted. When she completed her high school education she attended the University to pursue media studies. Her professor Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM and was member of the class, established an ongoing friendship with the student. He was the one who boosted her confidence and whose passion for journalism deeply touched her. In turn, she strived to fulfill his expectations and never let him down.
